What you will do
- Support the execution of healthcare financing and mergers and acquisitions transactions.
- Build and contribute to financial models, bond cash-flow analyses, valuations, and debt-profile evaluations.
- Prepare client pitches, presentations, and responses to requests for proposals.
- Conduct healthcare industry, comparable-company, capital-markets, and transaction analysis.
- Support financing transactions from credit analysis and legal document review through rating agency presentations and closing.
- Maintain healthcare transaction and capital-markets databases while coordinating with clients and senior bankers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- 13 months to 3 years of general experience; healthcare investment banking, consulting, equity research, investment management, or business development experience is beneficial.
- Strong analytical, critical-thinking, writing, verbal, computer, and presentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple detailed assignments, changing priorities, and senior banker expectations in a fast-paced environment.
- SIE examination required or to be passed within six months of hire.
- FINRA Series 79 and Series 63 required or to be passed within six months of hire.
Nice to have
- Working knowledge of DBC Finance.
- Experience in healthcare investment banking, consulting, equity research, investment management, or business development.
