What you will do
- Design complete voltage regulator systems and create customer-specific reference designs.
- Architect systems from customer requirements and support design-in, bring-up, and validation.
- Write system specifications and collaborate with Design Engineering to translate requirements into products.
- Design, simulate, prototype, test, and optimize custom power circuitry and systems.
- Develop reference designs and evaluation printed circuit boards while supporting New Product Introduction efforts.
- Troubleshoot customer systems, qualify new products, and demonstrate solutions and prototypes to customers.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- 5+ years of experience in power electronics design, product development, or applications engineering.
- Strong understanding of analog design and an analytical approach to engineering.
- Experience troubleshooting basic power circuitry and systems.
- Familiarity with feedback and other control systems.
- Experience with modeling and design tools such as MATLAB Simulink, Altium, SPICE, Simplis, or Simetrix.
Nice to have
- Master of Science in Electrical Engineering.
- Experience with Blue Chip or Tier 1 voltage regulator customers.
- Familiarity with Intel VR specifications for CPU core or memory.
