Senior Technical Project Manager (Private Markets)

Location: New York City, hybrid with a minimum of two days per week in office. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship.

Salary: $150,000–$180,000 per year in New York, plus discretionary bonus and benefits.

What you will do

• Lead strategic software platform implementations, vendor integrations, system migrations, and data architecture upgrades.
• Manage end-to-end project delivery, including scope, planning, milestones, risks, issues, dependencies, budget, and implementation.
• Partner with business and technology stakeholders to define requirements and translate business challenges into actionable plans.
• Drive front-to-back operating model transformation through process redesign and future-state solution mapping.
• Oversee data analysis, data conversion strategy, gap identification, remediation, and validation of business outcomes.
• Coordinate vendors, cross-functional teams, testing strategy, UAT, stakeholder reporting, and delivery quality.

Requirements

• 10+ years of project or program management experience, including at least 4 years in financial services transformation and software or vendor implementations.
• Direct experience delivering technology and operations change in private wealth or asset management environments.
• Track record managing full-lifecycle software or vendor platform implementations.
• Knowledge of Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid project delivery methodologies.
• Strong stakeholder management and commercial skills, including budgets, vendor contracts, and third-party delivery teams.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Visio, MS Project, and PowerPoint; bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Technology, or a related field.

Nice to have

• PMP, SAFe, or Scrum Master certification.
• SQL, Snowflake, Visual Studio, Claude Copilot, Python, business workflow tools, or VibeCoding experience.
• Experience leading data management initiatives.
• Knowledge of AI-driven analytics, workflow automation, and digital capabilities in private wealth.
