Intern M&A

Location: Brussels, Belgium. Internship duration is 3–5 months, with a planned start at the end of October 2026.

Investment banking advisory firm providing M&A, private funds, capital markets, valuation, and fairness opinion services to private equity firms and public and privately held companies.

What you will do

• Conduct market, industry, and company research across sectors including Industrials, Consumer, Tech, Business Services, and Healthcare.
• Support deal execution and prepare teasers, information memorandums, pitch presentations, and other transaction materials.
• Perform financial analyses and assist with company valuations.
• Identify potential buyers and participate in due diligence and closing processes.
• Support senior bankers with business development activities and meeting preparation.

Requirements

• Strong, well-rounded academic background and previous internships in corporate finance-related fields.
• Understanding of accounting, finance, M&A, valuation, corporate strategy, and business models.
• Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Proactive, self-motivated, adaptable, dependable, and able to manage a dynamic workload.
• Excellent written and spoken Dutch and English skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

Nice to have

• French language skills.
• International experiences and perspectives.
