Sr. Consultant - Technical Platform Manager (DevOps)

Location: Chennai, India; hybrid work with in-person attendance at an assigned hirify.global office at least two days per week

What you will do

• Define Platform Operations roadmaps aligned with organizational priorities and translate business goals into measurable initiatives.
• Lead cross-functional technology programs spanning engineering, architecture, security, quality, and operations.
• Drive PI planning, milestone tracking, release readiness, governance reviews, and predictable delivery.
• Oversee initiatives covering release management, DevOps enablement, blue/green deployments, CI/CD modernization, observability, reliability, and quality engineering.
• Coordinate stakeholders, facilitate decisions, manage escalations, and communicate risks, dependencies, and business impact to senior leadership.
• Establish quality gates, release controls, runbooks, monitoring, support processes, and service transition plans.

Requirements

• Strong technical understanding of cloud platforms, DevOps, CI/CD, QA, release management, and platform engineering.
• Proven experience leading large-scale cross-functional technology programs.
• Expertise in risk management, dependency management, executive communication, planning, analysis, and problem-solving.
• Ability to influence without authority across distributed global teams.
• Experience improving platform reliability, availability, operational efficiency, deployment risk, release predictability, and automation adoption.
