Proprietary financial trading firm using its own capital, trading strategies, and risk management methodologies to provide liquidity to global financial markets and hedge commodity exposure.

What you will do

  • Work closely with senior traders to learn proprietary methodologies and trading systems.
  • Manage real-time trading risk through trade entry and risk layoffs.
  • Build, maintain, and improve trading models.
  • Enhance existing strategies and identify new trading opportunities.
  • Coordinate between the trading desk, internal teams, and OTC relationships.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in mathematics, statistics, economics, computer science, or a related field, with expected graduation by Summer 2027.
  • Strong foundation in mathematics, probability, and statistics.
  • High proficiency in Excel and VBA.
  • Ability to learn quickly, solve problems, multitask, and perform in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Ability to remain composed and communicate clearly under pressure.

Nice to have

  • Experience with SQL, statistical modeling, Python, or other programming.
