Senior Data Coordinator (Financial Data)

Location: Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. Hybrid work is required, with office attendance Monday through Thursday and the option to work remotely or from the office on Fridays.

What you will do

• Lead the day-to-day work of Data Specialists by setting priorities, assigning workloads, coaching team members, and reviewing output quality.
• Coordinate client onboarding to the Anaplan valuation platform and manage multiple onboarding, testing, and operational initiatives.
• Develop project plans, track milestones and dependencies, manage issue logs, identify risks, and communicate status updates.
• Oversee the collection, validation, maintenance, and reporting of private-market data while improving data-quality procedures and documentation.
• Partner with Anaplan Technology, Data & Analytics, Salesforce Data, Product, and valuation teams on platform enhancements, functional testing, and user acceptance testing.
• Support valuation technology platforms and evaluate emerging AI and data-extraction solutions that improve productivity and data processing.

Requirements

• Approximately 7–8 years of relevant experience in data operations, financial analysis, valuation, financial reporting, or a related field.
• Experience coordinating or coaching junior or early-career team members while remaining hands-on with complex assignments.
• Strong project coordination skills, including planning, milestone tracking, risk identification, issue management, and status communication.
• Understanding of financial statements, financial models, valuation analyses, or related reporting, with strong Microsoft Excel proficiency.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills and the ability to collaborate with technical and business stakeholders.
• Ability to work in the Mumbai office Monday through Thursday and periodically work extended hours to support business deadlines. Employment visa sponsorship is not available now or in the future.

Nice to have

• CFA designation completed or actively being pursued.
• Experience with Anaplan or another enterprise planning or workflow platform.
• Experience with SQL, Power BI, technology implementations, functional testing, or user acceptance testing.
• Background in financial services, investment banking, valuation, or related professional services.
