What you will do
- Coordinate import and export customs clearance in compliance with applicable regulations and company requirements.
- Liaise with customs brokers, freight forwarders, carriers, transportation providers, and government authorities.
- Prepare, review, and maintain commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, customs declarations, and other trade documents.
- Monitor international shipments, resolve customs and transportation issues, and communicate risks or delays to stakeholders.
- Ensure accurate goods classification, customs valuation, and application of trade compliance requirements.
- Analyze logistics and customs data to support cost optimization, process improvements, forecasts, and operational efficiency.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, International Trade, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
- At least 5 years of professional experience in customs operations, import/export activities, and coordination with freight forwarding and transportation companies.
- Strong knowledge of customs regulations, international trade documentation, and import/export procedures.
- Experience working with customs brokers, freight forwarders, carriers, and government authorities.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience with ERP systems; professional English proficiency in writing and speaking required.
