Mental Health Group Facilitator - LA

Location: Remote, LA. Availability is required during 3–8pm MT Monday through Thursday and on Saturdays.

Part-time 1099 role; compensation is not specified.

What you will do

• Facilitate virtual therapy groups for adolescent and young adult clients using current hirify.global curricula and clinical best practices.
• Support clients across age groups and cohorts, including Integrative curriculum, Support Staffing, and Wellness Hour sessions.
• Encourage participation, camera-on engagement, and group cohesion throughout each session.
• Collaborate with primary therapists, care experience specialists, care coaches, supervisors, directors, families, agencies, and referents.
• Participate in treatment team meetings, group supervision, onboarding, and required monthly quality check-ins.
• Complete treatment documentation within 24 hours and follow agency, DHCS, Joint Commission, confidentiality, and professional ethics standards.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in mental health or a related field, including mental health counseling, counseling psychology, mental health social work, clinical mental health counseling, marriage and family therapy, clinical psychology, school counseling, rehabilitation counseling, applied developmental psychology, or qualifying education degrees with behavioral health experience.
• Experience working with youth and young adults.
• Previous experience facilitating group treatment and confidence using multiple treatment modalities.
• Ability to work effectively and communicate professionally within a collaborative care team.
• Technical ability to conduct telehealth sessions, reliable Wi-Fi, and daily use of Gmail, Slack, Zoom, Dropbox, EMR, and outcomes survey software.
• Must be available for weekday late-afternoon and evening sessions and Saturdays.

Nice to have

• EMDR or MI certification.
• Experience integrating DBT, CBT, EMDR, and motivational interviewing into treatment.
