Quality Assurance Programmable Platform Engineer

Location: Belluno, Italy; regular on-site presence is required.

Salary: €28,000–€40,000 gross annual salary, depending on experience and qualifications.

What you will do

• Define, document, and verify product use cases, functional requirements, and test strategies.
• Design, execute, and maintain functional tests for software and hardware components.
• Set up and manage laboratory validation and verification environments.
• Support automated testing solutions, test environments, CI processes, and increased test automation.
• Investigate defects with international teams, perform debugging, and identify product improvements.
• Prepare validation reports and defect analysis records while providing advanced technical support for complex customer issues.

Requirements

• Technical education in electronics, computer science, automation engineering, or a related field.
• Understanding of software testing principles and quality assurance methodologies.
• Familiarity with Selenium or similar automated testing tools, plus basic coding or software development knowledge.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and technical documentation.
• Knowledge of industrial communication protocols such as Modbus, BACnet, MQTT, or similar.
• Advanced English skills in written and verbal communication.

Nice to have

• Experience in quality assurance, testing, validation, or verification of software and electronic products.
• Experience with test automation frameworks, automated environments, and CI/CD tools.
• Familiarity with embedded systems and programmable electronic controllers.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity and secure product development practices.
• Experience troubleshooting software and hardware issues.
