Software Developer (Web)

Location: Chantilly, Virginia, United States; the role is based on-site in Chantilly, VA.

Salary: $150,000–$250,000 USD per year

What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain websites and other e-learning solutions.
• Develop web-based training courses and training products in collaboration with subject-matter specialists.
• Administer and design Joomla sites and use content creation and management tools for web development and programming.
• Create graphic, print, animation, photography, audio, and video materials for training and communications.
• Provide advice and recommendations on product design while solving complex application development problems.
• Manage multiple projects and track work through Jira or a similar IT work-tracking system.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph applicable to the customer.
• Experience working in a training environment and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Experience with Joomla site design and administration, website development, WBTs, online training courses, or other e-learning solutions.
• Experience with HTML, CSS, Adobe Captivate, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft PowerPoint, OneNote, and Word.
• Experience creating print products and using multimedia tools for graphic design, animation, videography, photography, audio recording, editing, and distribution.
• Experience using Jira or another IT ticketing or work-tracking system, including subscription image and graphics platforms such as Envato or Shutterstock.

Nice to have

• Experience with SharePoint or similar web-based collaboration, document management, and task management platforms.
• Experience with sponsor cloud technology networks and systems.
• Experience creating motion graphics, graphic design, animation, or 3D animation.
• Experience in photography, video production, or video production support.
• JavaScript experience, a related bachelor's degree, or UX/UI ability certification.
