Controlling Business Intelligence Specialist (Finance BI)

Location: Taguig, Philippines; regional scope covering APAC and Europe

What you will do

• Build relationships with internal stakeholders to understand business challenges and opportunities.
• Manage end-to-end data projects, including data collection, analysis, modeling, and automated reporting.
• Analyze regional P&L performance across APAC and Europe, identifying revenue and cost variance drivers.
• Interpret financial trends and provide commentary on performance against budgets and historical benchmarks.
• Lead strategic deep-dives and translate raw data into recommendations for regional leadership.
• Automate and streamline processes to improve regional business efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Data Analytics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.
• 2–4 years of experience in analytics and data science, with experience in Business Intelligence, Controlling, or FP&A.
• Knowledge of financial statements, including Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow.
• Strong experience with Tableau or comparable BI reporting software, including automated financial models, dashboards, and budget trackers.
• Advanced Excel and SQL skills, with strong analytical, problem-solving, and data integrity capabilities.
• Ability to work independently, collaborate cross-functionally, and contribute effectively within a team.

Nice to have

• CPA, CFA, or CIMA certification.
• Working knowledge of financial statements.
• Knowledge of data science and statistical modeling.
