Director, AI Solutions Architect

Salary: CAD 150,000–185,000 per year

What you will do

• Design end-to-end enterprise AI solutions aligned with business priorities, data foundations, architecture standards, and platform capabilities.
• Define scalable, secure, supportable architecture patterns for AI, GenAI, retrieval-based, and agent-enabled solutions.
• Translate business and product requirements into technology selections, integration patterns, and implementation roadmaps.
• Establish non-functional requirements covering security, governance, performance, resiliency, compliance, and supportability.
• Partner with product owners, data architects, engineers, business stakeholders, security, and governance teams.
• Review solution designs, support pilots and production deployments, and evolve architectures based on operational feedback.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in enterprise architecture, solution architecture, data architecture, or AI-related roles.
• Proven experience designing and delivering complex enterprise technology solutions across multiple systems and stakeholders.
• Production experience with AI, machine learning, GenAI, or advanced analytics solutions.
• Experience with cloud platforms, enterprise data ecosystems, APIs, and integration patterns.
• Experience in regulated, security-conscious, or highly governed enterprise environments.
• Strong executive communication, stakeholder management, cross-functional influence, and understanding of responsible AI, risk, security, and compliance.

Nice to have

• Experience in financial services, asset management, or similarly complex industries.
• Experience designing AI solutions for decision-making, workflow automation, or knowledge-based use cases.
• Familiarity with cloud-based data and AI platforms, MLOps, architecture governance, and enterprise architecture frameworks.
• Exposure to retrieval-augmented generation, knowledge architectures, or agent orchestration patterns.
