Location: Laibin, Guangxi, China; full-time onsite laboratory role
Salary: CNY 15,000–20,000 per month

operates a yeast and yeast-extract manufacturing site in Laibin, China, producing ingredients for food, feed, fermentation, and related applications.
What you will do
- Plan and organize laboratory experiments across ongoing projects and ensure compliance with Good Laboratory Practices.
- Manage laboratory equipment cleaning, maintenance, vendor interventions, and IQ/OQ/PQ qualification.
- Maintain the Procelys strain collection and coordinate the acquisition of relevant public strains.
- Develop, review, implement, and maintain SOPs for laboratory equipment, methods, and techniques.
- Manage consumables, raw materials, spare parts, and annual laboratory budgets.
- Lead customer technical assistance and application projects, scientific collaborations, conferences, and cross-functional communication with R&D, production, quality, supply chain, and business teams.
Requirements
- Master’s or PhD degree in microbiology, fermentation science, biochemical engineering, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of laboratory experience in R&D or application development within industrial biotechnology or fermentation.
- Experience in bio-ingredients such as hyaluronic acid, amino acids, enzymes, biopharma, dairy cultures, or probiotics is preferred.
- Proven team management, time management, communication, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Ability to build relationships with internal departments, scientific communities, and customers.
- Intermediate English communication and comprehension; CET 4.
