What you will do
- Recruit eligible and suitable youth for Job Corps programs.
- Conduct outreach in communities, agencies, American Job Centers, and public events.
- Interview applicants and, when applicable, their parents or guardians.
- Determine qualifications for residential, non-residential, and Other Training Provider programs.
- Maintain applicant files, enter data, scan documents, and perform quality assurance checks.
- Support applicants with travel arrangements and coordinate with Job Corps centers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in human services, psychology, counseling, education, social science, communications, or a closely related field; or an associate’s degree in a related field plus two years of relevant experience.
- Experience working with diverse youth.
- Valid driver’s license in the state of employment and an acceptable driving record.
- Ability to follow government, management, safety, and enrollment-compliance requirements.
