Network Evaluator (Cybersecurity)

Salary: $49,996.80–$290,004.00 per year

What you will do

• Assess operational and developmental networks and systems for vulnerabilities and susceptibility to network-based attacks.
• Analyze network traffic, system configurations, and overall security posture.
• Identify weaknesses and recommend appropriate countermeasures.
• Support implementation of security solutions across mission environments.
• Prepare evaluation reports and brief stakeholders on findings and recommendations.

Requirements

• US citizenship and an active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph are required.
• Experience in cybersecurity or network security.
• Experience with vulnerability, network, or protocol analysis.
• Familiarity with network security tools such as SNORT, traceroute, and diagnostic utilities.
• Understanding of systems architecture and security principles, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Education and experience must meet one of the stated Level 1–4 combinations; qualifying degrees include Network Engineering, Systems Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
