Network / Cyber Security Engineer

What you will do

• Design, install, test, and maintain secure operating systems, networks, database products, and network facilities.
• Support physical media, protocol stacks, routers, gateways, servers, telecommunications components, and network management systems.
• Conduct risk assessments, troubleshoot security issues, and recommend secure application and system designs.
• Analyze systems for malware, misuse, and unauthorized activity, including network-based intrusion detection.
• Apply encryption, penetration testing, vulnerability analysis, and forensic techniques to investigate and reconstruct attacks.
• Translate customer and product requirements into constrained system solutions, maintain configuration baselines, and resolve integration and testing issues.

Requirements

• US citizenship and an active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph are required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field; equivalent experience may substitute. An advanced degree is preferred.
• 10+ years of combined network engineering and cybersecurity experience.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity-related ICDs, such as ICD 503.
• Ability to present technical approaches and findings clearly and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
