Customer Relationship Manager

Location: Lucca, Italy; full-time onsite role with travel to customer or EPC sites.

What you will do

• Serve as the single point of contact for customers throughout the order-to-delivery journey.
• Translate customer requirements into robust, high-quality engineered-to-order solutions.
• Manage customer queries, expectations, contract reviews, scope changes, and project risks.
• Oversee technical and commercial project-lifecycle activities, including inventory tracking and delivery updates.
• Coordinate with engineering, applications, finance, operations, and commercial stakeholders.
• Develop project plans, influence delivery timescales, prepare cost estimates, and present solutions to senior stakeholders.

Requirements

• Degree in mechanical, electrical, product design, or industrial engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Experience analysing, designing, testing, and improving industrial products.
• Familiarity with structured engineering techniques.
• Experience with task management, defect tracking, requirements capture, and KPIs.
• Strong communication, relationship-building, problem-solving, and industrial design skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft tools, especially Dynamics CE, and willingness to travel.
