Field Service Technician (Hydrogen Fuel Cells)

Location: Ridgeville, SC 29472, United States; onsite at a Walmart customer site

Pay rate: $24.50–$28.50 per hour

hirify.global develops and services fuel cell products used in electric lift trucks and hydrogen fueling systems.

What you will do

• Maintain and service fuel cell systems at customer sites.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and evaluate fuel cell fleets, including breakdown response.
• Perform field retrofits and software and hardware upgrades.
• Provide on-call and emergency customer support as required.
• Order tools, equipment, and parts and maintain inventory.
• Complete incident reports, service logs, maintenance records, and site documentation while enforcing field safety procedures.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent with technical electrical coursework.
• Three or more years of direct mechanical and electrical troubleshooting experience; formal training may substitute for direct experience.
• Valid driver license, clean driving record, and ability to safely operate a motor vehicle.
• Ability to regularly lift 50 pounds unassisted and provide a standard personal set of tools; specialized fuel cell tools are provided.
• General mechanical aptitude, computer skills, strong communication, independent work ability, and effective time management.
• Ability to troubleshoot and maintain high-pressure hydrogen storage, 480VAC, cryogenic liquid, high-pressure gas, and fueling systems as required.

• Knowledge of lift truck operation and applications.
