Contracts Engineer (Construction)

Location: Onsite at the hirify.global Regional Office in New Cairo, Cairo, Egypt

What you will do

• Monitor construction and project contracts, ensure compliance, and advise the Project Manager on contractual matters.
• Prepare and manage contractual correspondence, legal documents, meeting minutes, and project records.
• Identify contractual and legal issues, deviations from standard forms, and obligations toward clients and third parties.
• Prepare third-party contracts and review subcontractor and supplier proposals, bids, and contract modifications.
• Analyze contractual conflicts and propose solutions involving the company, clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and consortium partners.
• Support disputes, litigation, arbitration, and extrajudicial settlements in coordination with project controls and regional teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Contracts is mandatory.
• At least 5 years of experience in construction projects, contracts administration, or project controls.
• Strong understanding of contract management, claims, and the legal aspects of construction projects.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent English, written and spoken, is required.
• Detail-oriented, organized, accountable, proactive, and able to work under pressure while managing multiple priorities.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in Engineering or Contracts.
