Senior UX Designer

What you will do

• Lead UX/UI work across web-based applications and digital platforms.
• Translate user research into user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and journey maps.
• Conduct usability testing and user outreach to validate designs and guide iterations.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and business stakeholders to align designs with technical feasibility and business goals.
• Provide design strategy, rationale, and guidance to leadership and product teams.
• Ensure products meet accessibility, usability, visual design, and enterprise design standards.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in software product development, digital design, or UX/UI.
• 8+ years of experience designing wireframes or mockups according to UX best practices.
• 8+ years of user and usability research experience.
• 5+ years of communication and facilitation across cross-functional teams.
• 4+ years leading large-scale UX/UI initiatives and using Figma or a comparable design tool.
• 3+ years designing for accessibility compliance, including Section 508 or WCAG standards.

Nice to have

• Experience using Atlassian Jira for workflow or issue tracking.
• Experience in public sector, education-focused, or mission-driven organizations.
