TL;DR
Digital Network Exploitation Analyst (DNEA) (Cybersecurity): Analyzing target networks, SIGINT, cybersecurity data, and network traffic to support cyber operations with an accent on exploitation planning, OSI-layer analysis, and vulnerability assessment. Focus on mapping network infrastructure, identifying vulnerabilities, and developing mission-focused cyber analysis and targeting plans.

Location: In-office positions in Annapolis Junction, Maryland; Dayton, Ohio; Honolulu, Hawaii; San Antonio, Texas; or Bluffdale, Utah.

Salary: $49,996.80–$290,004.00 per year.

What you will do

  • Evaluate target opportunities using all-source data and map target networks.
  • Support the development of detailed exploitation and cyber operations plans.
  • Analyze SIGINT, cybersecurity data, and network traffic across the OSI model.
  • Assess IP infrastructure, communication devices, network connectivity, and traffic flows.
  • Identify vulnerabilities and support mission-focused cyber analysis and targeting.

Requirements

  • US citizenship and an active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph are required.
  • Work is performed in the office at one of the listed US locations.
  • A Computer Science degree is required; related Engineering, Mathematics, IT, or Information Security degrees may be considered with equivalent foundational coursework.
  • Relevant experience may include systems design, software or hardware engineering, programming, network security, vulnerability analysis, penetration testing, forensics, information assurance, systems engineering, or network administration.
  • Experience requirements vary by level from an associate degree plus 4 years of experience or a bachelor's degree plus 2 years, up to advanced degree and experience combinations for higher levels.
  • Knowledge of network protocols, traffic analysis, cybersecurity concepts, and the OSI model is required.

Nice to have

  • Cyber operations, network analysis, or exploitation-focused mission experience.
  • Military cyber training such as JCAC.
  • Security+, Network+, CEH, or JCAC Graduate certifications and training.
  • Foreign language proficiency supported by recent ILR scores.
