TL;DR
Cybersecurity Analyst, Journeyman (RMF/DoD): Developing and maintaining Risk Management Framework assessment and authorization packages for tactical systems with an accent on vulnerability analysis, security controls, and DoD compliance. Focus on executing RMF activities, conducting ACAS and STIG assessments, maintaining eMASS records, and tracking POA&Ms for system authorization.

Location: Hybrid schedule in St. Inigoes, Maryland, with at least two days per week onsite. U.S. citizenship and an active Secret Security Clearance are required; the ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance is also required.

Salary: $85,000–$100,000 per year, plus benefits.

What you will do

  • Develop and manage Risk Management Framework assessment and authorization packages from planning through customer acceptance.
  • Assess system vulnerabilities, security risks, and mitigation strategies for tactical systems and information.
  • Execute RMF activities in accordance with DoD, DISA, and federal cybersecurity requirements.
  • Perform ACAS scans, security testing, and DISA STIG assessments.
  • Develop RMF artifacts, maintain eMASS records, and track Plans of Action and Milestones.
  • Collaborate with ISSMs, ISSEs, and system administrators while preparing cybersecurity reports, recommendations, and status updates.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity, computer science, information technology, or a related field.
  • Three to seven years of experience with RMF and assessment and authorization package development.
  • Experience with the eMASS tool.
  • At least one required certification: Security+ CE, CGRC, CASP+ CE, or CISSP.
  • Strong analytical, documentation, communication, facilitation, and customer-service skills.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen, complete a government background investigation, and hold an active Secret Security Clearance.

Nice to have

  • Experience with vulnerability scanners such as Nessus and DISA STIGs.
  • Experience with the Navy RMF Process Guide and standard operating procedures.
  • Experience applying RMF and cybersecurity practices to tactical systems.
  • Experience working in a DoD environment.
