Captain A320 - Instructor

Location: Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates; relocation support available

Salary: Up to USD 180,000 per year, with additional training delivery compensation available.

What you will do

• Take ultimate command of A320 flights and ensure the safety and security of crew, passengers, cargo, and aircraft.
• Lead flight and cabin crews through effective decision-making and crew resource management.
• Operate efficiently and support fuel, sustainability, and on-time performance policies.
• Deliver pilot training aligned with GCAA CAR-FCL, CAR-AIR OPS, and company operations manuals.
• Develop pilots’ knowledge, skills, attitude, resilience, and core competencies.
• Provide training-system feedback and uphold instructor standards as a role model.

Requirements

• At least 5,500 total flying hours, including 2,500 PIC hours on multi-crew glass-cockpit aircraft and 1,500 PIC hours on the A320 Family.
• Recent A320 Family experience within the last 12 months, a current A320 qualification, and an A320 type rating valid for at least two months at joining.
• Unrestricted and current ICAO ATPL and Class 1 medical.
• Must be under 59 years of age on the joining date.
• English fluency at ICAO Level 4 or higher is required.
• Three years of A320 instructor and/or examiner experience, plus 1,000 hours of FSTD training and 1,000 hours of LIFUS/IOE experience.

Nice to have

• Current TRE/TRI qualification.
• Experience with MPL, cadet, ab-initio, Evidence-Based Training, AQP, or ATQP programs.
• Expert technical knowledge.
