Risk Advisory Services Principal

What you will do

• Provide leadership, management, and strategic direction for the Risk Advisory practice.
• Translate firm strategy into business plans, objectives, and measurable progress.
• Develop sales and marketing plans, pursue new clients and service opportunities, and participate in proposals.
• Advise client executives on financial and operational risks, business processes, technology risks, and internal controls.
• Assess operational audit, enterprise risk management, and SOX compliance programs; identify control gaps and recommend improvements.
• Build the practice through new business development, team leadership, client relationships, executive reporting, and presentations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Accounting Information Systems, or a related program.
• CPA, CIA, or an equivalent professional designation.
• 12+ years of experience in risk advisory, internal or external audit, business process reengineering, and/or internal controls.
• 7+ years of supervisory experience, including mentoring and counseling associates.
• Demonstrated success building and growing a Risk Advisory practice, client base, team, and revenue.
• Ability to lead teams, provide strategic client advice, develop business, and travel as needed for client engagements.

Nice to have

• Internal audit experience in healthcare, life sciences, or technology.
