DevOps Engineer (German speaking)

Location: Budapest, Debrecen, Pécs, or Szeged, Hungary. Remote work is available only from within Hungary due to European taxation regulations.

What you will do

• Support and operate enterprise application environments in Linux.
• Troubleshoot Linux, database, and application issues.
• Perform migrations, upgrades, and other system changes.
• Work with Oracle, PostgreSQL, Apache, SSL/TLS, and SSO environments.
• Communicate directly with international customers and provide technical consulting.
• Collaborate with operations and development teams.

Requirements

• Education in Business or IT, or at least 2 years of experience as a Service or DevOps Engineer.
• Strong Linux administration experience with RHEL or SLES.
• Knowledge of shell scripting and SQL.
• Experience with Oracle and/or PostgreSQL.
• Good troubleshooting skills.
• B2 English and German communication skills required.

Nice to have

• Experience with Apache or Tomcat.
• Docker or Kubernetes knowledge.
• Git experience.
• Basic Java knowledge.
