Fire Protection Engineer (5-10 years)

Location: Honolulu, Hawaii, United States; full-time office position

Salary: $90,000–$120,000 annually

What you will do

• Perform fire protection consulting services for internal and external clients.
• Design automatic suppression systems.
• Design fire detection, alarm, and mass notification systems.
• Conduct code, egress, fire-resistant construction, and smoke control analyses.
• Apply general fire protection and life safety concepts through research and design.
• Collaborate with civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, and other internal disciplines on local projects.

Requirements

• Five to ten years of dedicated fire protection experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited college or university.
• Fire Protection License by examination issued by a U.S. state.
• EIT and P.E. credentials are required.
• Ability to obtain a U.S. Military Security Clearance.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Nice to have

• Experience with Revit.
