Associate Professor - MSN NP (AGPCNP, ANP, GNP)

Salary: $70,696–$100,957 per year

What you will do

• Teach MSN nurse practitioner students using Walden’s person-centered and community-of-care approach.
• Create welcoming, engaging online learning environments that support discussion, growth, and student participation.
• Provide individualized instructional support, constructive feedback, and guidance for academic and professional development.
• Maintain availability through email, phone, text, office hours, and individual appointments.
• Participate in scholarship activities that create, interpret, or apply knowledge within the discipline.
• Contribute service to the university, profession, and community, and attend required meetings, residencies, workshops, commencement, and training.

Requirements

• PhD or DNP in the field of study or a closely related field.
• At least three years of teaching experience, or demonstrated capacity and willingness to teach within a person-centered community-of-care model.
• Current, unencumbered Minnesota certification and licensure as an AGPCNP, GNP, or ANP is required; AGPCNP certification is strongly preferred.
• Capacity to support students with diverse academic, professional, and lived experiences.
• Ability to work a student-friendly schedule, including evenings and weekends.
