What you will do
- Provide one-on-one career coaching, mentorship, assessments, and individualized support to youth aged 16–24.
- Deliver case management, follow-up, referrals, orientations, and intake services to help participants overcome employment barriers.
- Facilitate introductory, weekly, and professional development workshops focused on career preparation and workforce skills.
- Maintain accurate client databases, enrollment records, case notes, activity documentation, and post-placement follow-up.
- Coordinate with schools, business services, account managers, leadership, and community agencies to align training with available jobs and employer requirements.
- Support program reporting, placement data collection, grant allocation, compliance activities, and operational improvements.
Requirements
- Two years of experience in career advisement and development, workshop facilitation, workforce curriculum development, public speaking, and content development.
- Bachelor’s degree in education, social services, healthcare, communications, or a combination of education and experience.
- Working knowledge of MS Office and Google Docs.
- Strong written, verbal, telephone, computer, leadership, prioritization, and documentation skills.
- Customer service experience and professional knowledge of occupations and career paths, ideally including healthcare careers.
- Ability to work flexibly in an environment with multiple stakeholders, frequent change, contract requirements, and diverse objectives.
