R&D Chemist - Digital Ink

Location: Onsite at the R&D center in West Chicago, Illinois, USA

Salary: $77,000–$90,000 annually

What you will do

• Troubleshoot issues with existing ink technologies and address customer challenges.
• Develop new inkjet technologies based on customer requirements.
• Evaluate raw materials and optimize formulations for cost savings.
• Provide technical support to manufacturing operations.
• Prepare project reports and technical documents for sales teams and customers.
• Maintain laboratory equipment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or an equivalent qualification.
• 5+ years of inkjet ink formulation experience.
• Knowledge of inkjet printing processes.
• Strong mathematics and science skills, with the ability to interpret data and draw effective conclusions.
• Proficiency in record-keeping and effective written, reading-comprehension, and verbal communication.

Nice to have

• Dispersion development experience.
• SAP experience.
• Knowledge of UV curing processes and formulations.
