Programme Manager

Location: Auckland, New Zealand, with a hybrid working arrangement; travel across Australia, New Zealand, and the Pacific Islands as required.

What you will do

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of multiple concurrent projects and programmes across ANZ and the Pacific Islands.
• Manage scope, schedules, budgets, risks, resources, forecasts, reporting, governance, and customer expectations.
• Act as the primary customer-facing representative and coordinate with Sales, Engineering, Service, Supply Chain, Finance, and Global Programmes.
• Manage contract execution and delivery against commercial commitments, including tenders, kick-offs, handovers, change management, and close-out.
• Monitor project performance through established controls and risk management processes.
• Ensure completed projects are successfully handed over to Service and Operations teams.

Requirements

• 10+ years of project or programme management experience.
• Experience managing multiple concurrent projects in technology, engineering, infrastructure, construction, or related industries.
• Strong commercial acumen, including contract, customer commitment, and project financial management.
• Hands-on field delivery experience and a record of managing projects through the full lifecycle.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, including engagement with customers and senior leadership in matrix organisations.
• Willingness to travel across the region for customer sites and project delivery.

Nice to have

• Experience in airport, aviation, security technology, infrastructure, defence, or complex systems integration.
• Knowledge of PMP, PRINCE2, Waterfall, Agile, or hybrid project management approaches.
• Knowledge of project controls, scheduling, forecasting, risk management, and change management.
• Familiarity with MS Project, MS Visio, SAP, AutoCAD, Primavera, Power BI, or similar tools.
