Strategy Analyst (M&A)

Location: Lille, France, with the possibility to work remotely 1 or 2 days per week

What you will do

• Conduct strategic studies and prepare recommendations for top management, the Executive Committee, and Boards of Directors.
• Support M&A projects from identifying and profiling acquisition targets through business development analysis and due diligence.
• Monitor competitors’ strategic movements and contribute to competitive intelligence activities.
• Collaborate with the global competitive intelligence network and regional and business unit teams.
• Prepare financial analyses, business plans, presentations, and conclusions from complex data.

Requirements

• Master’s degree from an engineering school, business school, or university.
• 2 to 4 years of experience in strategy consulting, M&A or transformation consulting, investment analysis, investment banking, private equity, or corporate strategy.
• Familiarity with strategy consulting methodologies.
• Excellent English proficiency is required.
• Strong numerical, financial analysis, synthesis, communication, and presentation skills.

Nice to have

• Background in biology or life sciences.
• Experience transitioning from consulting to in-house strategy.
