Agent/Lead Agent – Ocean Export (Logistics)

What you will do

• Assist the Supervisor or Department Head with department operations and ensure the timely movement of freight.
• Manage customer service, customer retention, and vendor relations.
• Process shipments and billing accurately and on time.
• Assist with accounts receivable and AJAX reports.
• Address and resolve daily exceptional reports.
• Follow procedure and productivity standards and complete assigned operational tasks.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in ocean, logistics, shipping, or freight forwarding.
• University or college degree, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong organizational, computer, and teamwork skills, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Fluent English.
• Ability to work extra hours when required and perform under high pressure and tight deadlines.
