What you will do
- Lead electrical pre-construction and bid management from initial enquiry through project handover.
- Develop winning strategies for electrical and full M&E design-and-build tenders.
- Coordinate electrical estimators, design engineers, planners, and bid teams.
- Review technical specifications, drawings, tender documentation, design development, and compliance requirements.
- Identify project risks, long-lead equipment needs, programme constraints, and value-engineering opportunities.
- Engage manufacturers, subcontractors, clients, and consultants while managing tender programmes and handover to delivery teams.
Requirements
- At least 10 years of experience in electrical building services or the M&E sector.
- At least 5 years in pre-construction, senior estimating, or electrical bid management.
- Degree or equivalent qualification in electrical engineering, building services, or construction management.
- Experience with data centre, pharmaceutical, industrial, or large commercial projects.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, infrastructure delivery, JCT/NEC contracts, and commercial strategy.
- Proficiency in estimating software, MS Project or Asta, and digital construction platforms, with the ability to manage multiple tenders and tight deadlines.
