Accountant (IFRS/Tax)

A global clean energy company investing in, developing, and operating renewable energy projects across multiple markets and technologies.

What you will do

• Maintain the project SPV’s bookkeeping, accounting register, and general ledger in line with local standards, IFRS, and internal policies.
• Prepare monthly trial balances, accruals, provisions, account aging reports, and month-end AP and AR reports.
• Reconcile bank accounts, customer and vendor accounts, and balance sheet accounts.
• Prepare cash flow forecasts, management reports, financial analyses, budgets, and project finance documentation.
• Perform accounts payable and accounts receivable activities and manage invoice approval and processing timelines.
• Act as the focal point for tax authorities and prepare tax filings and payments for applicable taxes and statutory contributions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, taxation, business, finance, economics, or a related subject.
• ACCA, CAP, CIPA, DipIFR, or a similar professional accounting qualification.
• 4–6 years of experience in bookkeeping, taxation, financial management, or accounting.
• Experience with major infrastructure projects or construction companies.
• Advanced written and verbal English and Arabic.
• Strong analytical, research, project management, organization, communication, and time management skills, with excellent proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
