TL;DR
FPSO 3D Model Specialist (Offshore EPC): Coordinating and reviewing the FPSO 3D model across engineering, fabrication preparation, integration, and handover phases with an accent on interdisciplinary interfaces, clash detection, constructability, and model maturity. Focus on identifying technical inconsistencies, following up review actions, and challenging fabrication, offshore hook-up, and commissioning readiness.

Location: Paris, France, then Asia (country to be confirmed). Working schedule: Resident

What you will do

  • Coordinate the 3D model within the assigned FPSO scope and organize interdisciplinary model reviews.
  • Review models and deliverables for inconsistencies, missing information, clashes, and constructability issues.
  • Coordinate comments with discipline engineers and follow actions through close-out.
  • Verify interfaces between disciplines and FPSO areas, including process, utilities, E&I, safety systems, piping, structures, and offshore or marine interfaces.
  • Monitor model maturity, review cycles, technical issues, risks, priorities, and outstanding actions.
  • Prepare review reports, comment registers, clash reports, action logs, and progress updates.

Requirements

  • 8–10 years of experience in 3D model coordination and layout or model reviews on major FPSO projects.
  • Strong understanding of 3D model review processes, clash detection, interdisciplinary coordination, and model-based design workflows.
  • Knowledge of FPSO engineering deliverables, topsides layouts, piping and equipment arrangements, and safety studies.
  • Good command of 3D review and engineering tools.
  • Engineering degree, technical diploma, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Fluent English is mandatory; French is an advantage.

Nice to have

  • Experience on FPSO projects during detailed engineering, fabrication preparation, integration, or execution phases.
  • French language skills.
