What you will do

• Manage a participant caseload and provide counseling, mentoring, and case management.
• Assess work history, education, competencies, skills, abilities, and barriers to employment.
• Conduct ongoing individual meetings covering job search, education, job readiness, and job retention.
• Create employment plans with short- and long-term goals and connect participants with training, education, employers, and job opportunities.
• Monitor attendance, progress, employment retention, and advancement throughout the program cycle.
• Maintain accurate electronic and paper participant records and report employment changes to government agencies.

Requirements

• Work location: Atlanta, Georgia, USA.
• Two years of experience in career advisement and development, workshop facilitation, workforce curriculum development, public speaking, and content development.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Docs.
• Strong telephone, computer, written, verbal communication, leadership, prioritization, and documentation skills.
• Customer service experience and the ability to work with multiple stakeholders, changing requirements, and diverse objectives.
• Preferred bachelor's degree in education, social services, healthcare, communications, or a related field.
