TL;DR
IT Infrastructure Support Specialist (Network Infrastructure): Supporting and installing site IT infrastructure in Duba, Saudi Arabia, with an accent on structured cabling, fiber-optic testing, network connectivity, and industrial control systems. Focus on troubleshooting cabling and network issues, coordinating vendors and remote support teams, configuring temporary infrastructure and DMZ connectivity, and maintaining safety and inspection documentation.

What you will do
- Install, supervise, test, and document structured cabling, including copper and fiber-optic systems for data, voice, and CCTV.
- Manage IT room cabinets, equipment mounting, cable labeling, network drops, and infrastructure documentation.
- Troubleshoot and repair cabling, connectors, network, wireless, VPN, and other local IT infrastructure issues.
- Coordinate contractors, vendors, external parties, and remote infrastructure teams for deployments and issue remediation.
- Support DMZ installation and configuration, temporary IT infrastructure, microwave or Tetra tower installations, and industrial control systems.
- Perform site activities under safety work permits, prepare risk assessments, and maintain inspection and test reports in Aconex and OT.
Requirements
- Degree in Information Systems or Computer Science, specialized training, certification, or equivalent work experience.
- Proven experience in desktop support or other IT infrastructure areas.
- Good written and spoken English language skills.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Windows, TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, SSL/VPN, printing support, HP hardware, SCCM, Microsoft Office/O365, SCEP, and Windows Firewall.
- Knowledge of virtual desktop infrastructure or Citrix, networks, servers, security, and voice services.
- Ability to work with vendors, prioritize urgent issues, provide customer support, and work outside normal business hours or on weekends when required.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with Industrial Control Systems.
- Understanding of ITIL incident, change, and problem management processes.
