TL;DR

Finance Manager (Renewable Energy): Managing tax, financial accounting, and accounting controls for an Uzbekistan-based special purpose vehicle with an accent on IFRS compliance, local reporting standards, and general ledger integrity. Focus on preparing forecasts and budgets, overseeing AP and AR, ensuring tax compliance, and reconciling restricted cash and bank accounts.

What you will do

Maintain project-related business transactions in the general ledger in compliance with IFRS, local reporting standards, and company policies.
Prepare cash flow forecasts, management reports, financial analyses, and budgets for stakeholders.
Review and manage accounts payable and accounts receivable activities in line with agreed service levels.
Ensure accurate tax reporting and payment under applicable Uzbekistani laws, and communicate tax consequences of business decisions.
Reconcile bank accounts and correctly classify deposits, short-term restricted cash, and long-term restricted cash.
Support financial accounting, audit, and reporting for the Uzbekistan SPV company.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, economics, or a related subject.
Qualified accountant with CA, ACCA, or a similar qualification.
At least 8 years of experience in financial management, accounting, or audit.
Experience with major infrastructure projects, construction companies, or Big Four accounting firms.
Experience in project finance.
