What you will do
- Prepare, clean, preprocess, and analyze structured and unstructured data from multiple sources.
- Support analytical, statistical, optimization, and machine learning model development, testing, validation, and documentation.
- Build and maintain data pipelines, dashboards, reports, and performance forecasting tools on BI platforms.
- Translate business questions into analytical tasks and deliver clear insights and data-driven recommendations.
- Collaborate with the Senior Decision Scientist and stakeholders across operations, digital, and strategy teams.
- Contribute to code reviews, model reviews, reproducible codebases, data quality checks, and knowledge-sharing sessions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- UAE National status for the National Talent programme.
- 1–3 years of experience in data science, analytics, or related fields, including internships.
- Strong foundation in statistics, linear algebra, data analysis, analytical thinking, and problem-solving.
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, or similar programming languages.
- Familiarity with Pandas, NumPy, visualization tools, basic machine learning concepts, data pipelines, and data wrangling.
Nice to have
- Exposure to energy, utilities, or financial analytics.
- Experience with cloud platforms or big-data tools.
- Experience delivering academic or professional data-driven projects.
