Quality Assurance / Airworthiness Liaison (Aviation): Creating, monitoring, and enforcing airworthiness, safety, and operational processes with an accent on FAA, IATA, and federal aviation compliance. Focus on conducting audits, analyzing operational compliance, interpreting aviation regulations and engineering documents, and coordinating with the FAA and Department of Defense.
Location: Hybrid in Memphis, Tennessee, United States; candidates must live within 50 miles of the campus and work onsite four times per week.
Salary: $6,511.62–$10,744.16 per month.

What you will do
- Create, initiate, monitor, and enforce airworthiness, safety, and operational processes.
- Use continuous analysis and surveillance to maintain compliance with FAA, IATA, and federal aviation requirements.
- Liaise with the FAA and Department of Defense on air operations safety and legal fitness.
- Perform quality assurance and airworthiness audits across aircraft maintenance, engineering, flight operations, records, and internal evaluation functions.
- Interpret airworthiness directives, engineering documents, OEM specifications, FAA regulatory documents, and equivalent military documentation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in aeronautical engineering, safety management systems, or a related aviation discipline.
- Seven years of experience in air carrier aircraft maintenance, flight operations, or equivalent military work.
- Three years of audit experience in a quality assurance, aircraft maintenance, engineering, or flight operations environment.
- Experience interacting with the FAA and conducting audits under FAA, IOSA, Department of Defense, or C.A.S.E. standards.
- FAA A&P, FAA ATP, or DSP licensing is required for applicable airworthiness, air safety, and internal evaluation functions.
- Strong planning, analytical, and communication skills, with in-depth knowledge of CFRs and proficiency in Excel, Word, and databases.
