Quality Assurance / Airworthiness Liaison (Aviation)

Location: Hybrid in Memphis, Tennessee, United States; candidates must live within 50 miles of the campus and work onsite four times per week.

Salary: $6,511.62–$10,744.16 per month.

What you will do

• Create, initiate, monitor, and enforce airworthiness, safety, and operational processes.
• Use continuous analysis and surveillance to maintain compliance with FAA, IATA, and federal aviation requirements.
• Liaise with the FAA and Department of Defense on air operations safety and legal fitness.
• Perform quality assurance and airworthiness audits across aircraft maintenance, engineering, flight operations, records, and internal evaluation functions.
• Interpret airworthiness directives, engineering documents, OEM specifications, FAA regulatory documents, and equivalent military documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in aeronautical engineering, safety management systems, or a related aviation discipline.
• Seven years of experience in air carrier aircraft maintenance, flight operations, or equivalent military work.
• Three years of audit experience in a quality assurance, aircraft maintenance, engineering, or flight operations environment.
• Experience interacting with the FAA and conducting audits under FAA, IOSA, Department of Defense, or C.A.S.E. standards.
• FAA A&P, FAA ATP, or DSP licensing is required for applicable airworthiness, air safety, and internal evaluation functions.
• Strong planning, analytical, and communication skills, with in-depth knowledge of CFRs and proficiency in Excel, Word, and databases.
