Location: Whiteman AFB, Missouri, United States; assignment-ready, short-term, surge, and on-demand coverage at military installations.

Salary: $58,440–$93,500 annually.

What you will do

• Provide personal financial counseling and management services to military service members and their families.
• Help participants establish spending plans for extended absences and deployment-related situations.
• Develop financial education materials and deliver classes, workshops, briefings, and age-appropriate seminars.
• Provide authorized virtual counseling through secure online chat, web-based tools, video communications, or customer-sponsored video teleconferencing.
• Coordinate with installation and military branch points of contact, leadership, and other providers to keep services within program scope.
• Manage duty-to-warn situations, participate in supervision and training, and contribute to quality improvement activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required; an associate degree plus 4 years of experience or a high school diploma plus 6 years of experience may be considered instead.
• At least 3 years of financial counseling experience.
• U.S. citizenship required.
• Fluent English required.
• Spanish-English bilingual proficiency may be required by the contract.
• Ability to obtain a favorably adjudicated Tier 2 investigation, pass the Congressionally Mandated Disclosures for Organizational Conflicts of Interest process, and hold an AFC, CFP, or ChFC certification.
