TL;DR
IT Senior Solutions Architect (WMS): Defining and governing end-to-end technology solutions and the WMS roadmap for warehousing and logistics operations with an accent on scalable architecture, enterprise standards, and 3PL environments. Focus on designing WMS, TMS, OMS, YMS, and LMS ecosystems, evaluating cloud-native and composable technologies, and prioritizing AI use cases across supply chain operations.
Location: Warrendale, Pennsylvania, United States; onsite

What you will do
- Define, govern, and lead the architecture vision, principles, and technology roadmap aligned with enterprise strategy.
- Design scalable architectures across WMS, TMS, OMS, YMS, LMS, and related ERP, WCS/SCADA, and database platforms.
- Own the WMS technology roadmap based on business strategy, growth plans, client needs, and operational priorities.
- Design and document event-driven, API-based, and EDI integrations, system interfaces, capabilities, and functional gaps.
- Evaluate cloud-native SaaS WMS, microservices, composable architecture, automation, robotics, and WES/WCS convergence.
- Lead vendor evaluations, RFPs, proofs of concept, and critical customer demonstrations in partnership with Sales and Solution teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, supply chain technology, or a related field.
- 10+ years of solution architecture experience with a strong WMS and global supply chain focus.
- Experience with SOA, microservices, messaging, databases, large-scale system integration, and agile environments.
- Deep experience in WMS architecture, design, and implementation across inbound, outbound, inventory, fulfillment, yard, cross-docking, labor, and integrations.
- Knowledge of reliability engineering, enterprise architecture governance, documentation, design patterns, and TOGAF or an equivalent framework.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, leadership, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
