Healthtech Consultant (MEDITECH)

What you will do

• Deliver MEDITECH-related consulting and administrative computer services for healthcare clients.
• Apply technical expertise to client system builds, troubleshooting and resolving implementation issues.
• Analyze, document, and optimize clinical and operational workflows with MEDITECH end users.
• Mentor client project teams on project approaches and system build strategies.
• Track project risks and issues, prepare documentation and status reports, and facilitate project meetings.
• Support client relationships through project coordination, networking, and additional statement-of-work activities.

Requirements

• At least three years of hands-on experience implementing or supporting the MEDITECH EHR system.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain complex information clearly.
• Strong organization, prioritization, scheduling, and deadline-management skills.
• Ability to adapt to new project environments, client organizations, workplace policies, stakeholders, and changing travel or living arrangements.
• Ability and interest in mentoring and supporting the development of others.
• Professionalism, accountability, ethical conduct, and a strong work ethic.

Nice to have

• Experience with MEDITECH Expanse.
• Previous project management or project coordination experience.
• PMP certification for project management or leadership-focused assignments.
• Experience with MEDITECH optimization initiatives.
