Location: Onsite in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam; shift working hours required

What you will do

  • Lead customs clearance operations to ensure timely processing and compliance with local customs regulations and trade laws.
  • Monitor shipment clearance timelines, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to prevent delays, penalties, and additional costs.
  • Manage documentation handling, shipment classification, and duty and tax calculation processes.
  • Build relationships with customs authorities, brokers, and regulatory agencies.
  • Analyze clearance performance, exceptions, and compliance rates, then drive corrective and continuous improvement actions.
  • Train team members, support automation and digital trade tools, and collaborate with operations, customer service, and commercial teams to resolve clearance issues.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, International Trade, or a related field.
  • At least 7 years of experience in customs clearance, brokerage, or international logistics operations.
  • Strong knowledge of customs regulations, trade compliance, tariffs, and documentation requirements.
  • Experience working with customs authorities and regulatory bodies.
  • Proven leadership and team management experience, with strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
  • Comfort with shift working hours and managing time-sensitive shipments under pressure.

  • Familiarity with clearance systems and digital trade tools.
