What you will do
- Respond to application support requests and incidents within defined SLAs while maintaining clear customer communication.
- Manage application and team documentation, including system diagrams, dependency maps, integrations, and operational records.
- Build vendor relationships and ensure application teams receive effective software support.
- Plan and execute application upgrades, maintain security patches, and support the full application lifecycle through decommissioning and data archiving.
- Develop expertise in clinically integrated hospital and physician office workflows across clinical and business functions.
- Participate in and lead smaller analyst-led projects, coordinating schedules, follow-ups, team members, and project status.
Requirements
- Bachelorβs degree in information technology, engineering, healthcare informatics, computer science, or a related field; relevant education or 8+ years of industry experience may be considered.
- At least 5 years of experience in healthcare IT or an equivalent application analyst role.
- Analytical thinking, problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills.
- Experience with ITIL-aligned Incident, Request, and Change Management processes.
- Experience managing application support and documentation.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively, with occasional on-call participation for critical applications and travel as necessary.
