Edge Network Engineer (SD-WAN)

What you will do

• Lead customer deployments of edge computing infrastructure, cloud integrations, and SD-WAN platforms.
• Own architecture planning, configuration, testing, implementation, and go-live support as the technical point of contact.
• Design and standardize network routing, switching, security, and network interface configurations.
• Troubleshoot issues across operating systems, hypervisors, containers, and networks as a Tier 4 escalation point.
• Develop automation scripts and reusable tooling, and document procedures, configurations, and lessons learned.
• Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with project managers, systems engineers, and customer stakeholders.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in edge infrastructure deployment, implementation engineering, or a similar technical field.
• Extensive Linux administration and troubleshooting experience, plus proficiency with KVM, VMware, and containerization technologies.
• Strong knowledge of routing, VLANs, firewalls, DNS, NAT, routing protocols, proxies, and physical and virtual network interfaces.
• Experience deploying and managing SD-WAN platforms; Versa Networks experience is a strong advantage.
• Experience with AWS or Azure, REST APIs, Postman, Swagger, curl, Python, Ansible, Terraform, or Bash.
• Fluent English is required.

Nice to have

• Experience with K3s, Zededa, Azure IoT Edge, or AWS Greengrass.
• Knowledge of TPM, encryption, measured boot, zero-touch provisioning, telemetry pipelines, or edge site and network architecture.
• Experience with ServiceNow, Jira, or other ITSM platforms.
