Location: Addis Ababa, Ethiopia; hybrid workplace with regular office-based leadership and collaboration
Salary: From $3,000 USD per month, commensurate with experience.

What you will do
- Lead the development team day to day by planning work, assigning tasks, and maintaining delivery.
- Translate CTO direction and large-scale projects into clear, actionable tasks.
- Contribute hands-on across the codebase and take ownership of the hardest technical challenges.
- Unblock developers and keep projects moving.
- Maintain a high quality bar, manage team performance, and support professional growth.
- Build AI features alongside the development team.
Requirements
- Strong full-stack development skills with the ability to contribute across any part of a project.
- Proven experience leading a development team and earning the team's respect.
- Ability to combine people management with hands-on software development.
- Ability to turn high-level direction into clear tasks for other developers.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- Comfort working from and leading the team in the Addis Ababa office.
Nice to have
- Experience with TypeScript, React, React Native, Go, Swift, iOS development, or PizzaPy.
- Experience with AI infrastructure and model deployment.
