TL;DR
Program Director, Radiology Technician (Radiography Education): Leading the development, implementation, and management of radiography education programs across regional campuses with an accent on accreditation, accessibility, student outcomes, and clinical instruction. Focus on evaluating program effectiveness, managing resources, analyzing regional enrollment and market trends, and coaching faculty and staff.

Location: Onsite at UMA campuses in Clearwater and Tampa, Florida; a flexible remote schedule may be available for online or virtual instruction. Evening and weekend work may be required.

Salary: $100,000–$110,000 USD annually, based on experience and qualifications.

What you will do

  • Lead the development, implementation, and management of radiography and limited-scope radiography education programs.
  • Design and oversee courses aligned with institutional goals, accreditation standards, accessibility requirements, and student success outcomes.
  • Monitor program quality and effectiveness, evaluate student outcomes, and implement improvements.
  • Provide operational oversight across regional programs, including budgets, resources, compliance, and performance.
  • Analyze enrollment data, demographic changes, and regional market trends to optimize recruitment and outreach strategies.
  • Lead, coach, and develop faculty and staff while promoting collaboration, consistent best practices, and positive team engagement.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited radiography program with a master's degree from an institution accredited by a U.S. Department of Education- or CHEA-recognized agency.
  • Current ARRT certification in radiography or an equivalent unrestricted state license.
  • At least three years of full-time clinical experience in medical imaging.
  • At least two years of teaching experience in an accredited higher-education program.
  • Experience with instruction, student evaluation, academic advising, educational methods, and personnel supervision.
  • Fluent professional written and verbal English is required. Basic computer literacy and the ability to support a diverse and inclusive environment are also required.

Nice to have

  • Experience delivering online and hybrid courses, adapting curricula, and managing online education programs.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Teams, and other business tools.
  • Experience with learning management systems, emerging education technologies, strategic program planning, and market analysis.
