Frontend Developer (FinTech)

Location: Metro Manila, Philippines; 100% remote within the Philippines. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

Salary: PHP 50,000–PHP 100,000 per month.

What you will do

• Develop and maintain responsive user interfaces for financial services web applications.
• Collaborate with backend developers, designers, and product managers to deliver user-friendly experiences.
• Apply frontend best practices for cross-browser compatibility, accessibility, and responsive design.
• Optimize applications for speed, scalability, secure transactions, and data privacy.
• Use Git and testing tools to manage and validate frontend code.
• Ensure applications follow financial services regulations and standards such as GDPR and PSD2.

Requirements

• Professional experience as a Front-End Developer in a FinTech or financial services environment.
• Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript, with experience in React, Vue.js, or Angular.
• Understanding of RESTful API and WebSocket integration.
• Experience with Git and GitHub or GitLab, responsive design, and cross-platform compatibility.
• Knowledge of UI/UX principles, Agile methodologies, and collaboration tools such as Jira, Trello, or Asana.
• A portfolio is required.

Nice to have

• Experience with financial data or blockchain technologies.
• Knowledge of RegTech and financial-sector security standards.
• Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Experience with unit testing and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with Australian, UK, or US-based FinTech companies.
